Ola Electric has unveiled the PowerPod, a portable inverter designed to meet the power needs of essential household appliances. This innovative device provides a reliable energy backup solution, especially for areas with frequent power outages.
Priced at ₹9,999, the PowerPod is equipped with a 1.5 kWh battery and delivers a maximum output of 500W. It can power essential household appliances, such as LED bulbs, ceiling fans, televisions, mobile chargers, and Wi-Fi routers, for up to three hours. This makes it an ideal option for semi-urban and rural households where electricity supply can be erratic.

Alongside the PowerPod, Ola Electric introduced two new e-scooters: the Gig and the S1 Z range. These models cater to both personal and commercial users, with prices starting at an affordable ₹39,999.
The new e-scooters are equipped with removable batteries, ensuring convenience for users. Designed for diverse needs, the scooters target gig workers and urban commuters alike. Their versatility and affordability make them a strong contender in the growing electric vehicle market.
Reservations for the e-scooters have commenced at a nominal fee of ₹499. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in April 2025, allowing customers to experience Ola Electric’s commitment to sustainable mobility.
