Oakley and Meta have officially launched the Oakley Meta Vanguard smart glasses in India, expanding their collaboration into the high-performance wearable segment. Designed specifically for athletes and endurance users, the new smart glasses combine fitness tracking, hands-free camera recording, immersive audio, and Meta AI voice assistance, positioning them beyond casual smart eyewear.
Following their global debut in September 2025, the Oakley Meta Vanguard smart glasses have now arrived in the Indian market. According to the companies, the glasses are engineered for high-intensity sports, blending an action-ready camera, fitness app integration, immersive audio, and voice-controlled AI features.
The design incorporates Oakley’s Three-Point Fit system, along with three interchangeable nose pads, including low- and high-bridge options, allowing users to customise fit for long training sessions.

Unlike lifestyle-oriented smart glasses, the Oakley Meta Vanguard is positioned as a performance-centric wearable. The frame design works comfortably with cycling helmets and caps, while the IP67 dust and water resistance rating ensures protection against sweat, rain, and harsh outdoor training environments.
Oakley says the glasses are designed to withstand intense physical activity, making them suitable for cycling, running, and endurance sports.
A key highlight of the Oakley Meta Vanguard is its deep focus on fitness data. Meta AI integrates with Garmin and other fitness apps, enabling users to check:

This can be done using voice commands, eliminating the need to check a phone or smartwatch mid-activity.
Oakley also highlights a status LED in the user’s peripheral vision, which provides real-time visual feedback on whether users are within target ranges for metrics like heart rate or pace, without breaking stride.
