Motorola has launched its first-ever Signature smartphone in India at an event held in Mumbai. The premium handset comes with Pantone-curated colour options, the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, a 165Hz LTPO AMOLED display, and a powerful 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery with fast wired and wireless charging support.
Motorola Signature was launched in India at an event in Mumbai. The new handset will soon be available for purchase via an e-commerce platform and is offered in two Pantone-curated colour options. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
The smartphone packs a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. Motorola claims the device can deliver up to 41 hours of battery life. It also offers access to Moto Elite Care with Signature Club, a live-agent lifestyle support service.
The Motorola Signature price in India starts at Rs. 59,999 for the base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 64,999, while the top-end model with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage costs Rs. 69,999.
Customers can avail an instant discount of Rs. 5,000 using HDFC Bank or Axis Bank cards, or opt for an exchange bonus of up to Rs. 5,000.
The smartphone will go on sale in India starting January 30 via Flipkart. It will be available in Pantone Carbon and Pantone Martini Olive colour options.
Motorola Signature is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UI on top. It features a 6.8-inch Super HD (1,264 x 2,780 pixels) LTPO Extreme AMOLED display with up to a 165Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a peak brightness of 6,200 nits.
The display also supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and comes with SGS blue light reduction and motion blur reduction certifications. The screen includes a Smart Water Touch feature, allowing usage even with wet or damp fingers.
The handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, built on a 3nm process. It supports up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
Motorola claims the phone comes with IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance, MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 display protection. It features an aluminium frame and linen-inspired or twill-inspired finishes on the back, depending on the colour variant.
Motorola Signature features a triple rear camera setup, including:

50MP (f/2.0) ultra-wide camera
50MP Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, 100x hybrid zoom, and OIS
On the front, the smartphone has a 50MP (f/2.0) Sony LYT-500 selfie camera. The device supports video recording up to 8K at 30fps.
The smartphone is backed by a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 90W wired fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging, 10W wireless reverse charging, and 5W wired reverse charging. Motorola claims up to 41 hours of battery life on a single charge.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, USB Type-C, GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo.
Sensors onboard include a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and e-compass.
The smartphone measures 162.1 x 76.4 x 6.99mm and weighs approximately 186 grams.
