JSW MG Motor India has officially introduced its highly awaited electric roadster, the MG Cyberster, at a special introductory price of ₹72.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for customers who had pre-reserved the model. For fresh bookings, the price is ₹74.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries for the MG Cyberster are scheduled to begin on August 10, 2025. The premium EV will be sold exclusively through the brand’s high-end retail outlet, MG Select.
Inspired by the classic MGB Roadster, the MG Cyberster pays homage to its roots while embracing modern electric vehicle technology. It combines retro open-top roadster aesthetics with a futuristic design, high performance, and innovative features. The Cyberster aims to deliver an exhilarating driving experience and represents MG’s fastest car to date.
The MG Cyberster comes equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup, delivering an impressive 510bhp of power and 725Nm of torque. Thanks to this powerful configuration, the EV can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds. The roadster also boasts a best-in-class drag coefficient of 0.269 Cd, which enhances its aerodynamic efficiency and speed.
Visually, the MG Cyberster stands out with its aggressive and futuristic design. The car features electric scissor doors, a soft-top convertible roof, signature LED lighting, and active aerodynamic elements. Its rear styling includes a Kammback design, which adds to its sporty appeal. The vehicle rides on 20-inch staggered alloy wheels paired with Pirelli P-Zero tyres, enhancing both aesthetics and performance.
The interior of the MG Cyberster is designed with a driver-focused layout. It features a wraparound cockpit with a triple-screen setup—a 10.25-inch touchscreen in the center flanked by two 7-inch digital displays for vital information. The cabin is trimmed in premium vegan leather and Dinamica suede, offering both comfort and sustainability. Key highlights include:
Dual-zone climate control
BOSE audio system with noise cancellation
Steering-mounted regenerative braking paddle shifters
At the heart of the MG Cyberster is a 77kWh ultra-thin battery pack, measuring only 110mm in thickness, making it the slimmest in its segment. This battery offers a MIDC-certified range of 580km, ensuring long-distance capabilities. The battery also contributes to optimized weight distribution and thermal management for better driving dynamics.
The Cyberster has been co-developed with Marco Fainello, a former Formula 1 engineer, and features double wishbone suspension and a 50:50 weight distribution. These elements provide exceptional handling, agility, and ride comfort, making it a true driver’s car.
MG has engineered the Cyberster with safety as a top priority. It includes a high-strength H-shaped cradle structure and a Static Stability Factor (SSF) of 1.83, ensuring excellent rollover resistance. It is also equipped with:
Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System)
Real-time Driver Monitoring System
Multiple airbags
Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
Brembo 4-piston brake calipers with 33m braking from 100 kmph
The MG Cyberster is offered in four dual-tone exterior colour options:
Nuclear Yellow with Black Roof
Flare Red with Black Roof
Andes Grey with Red Roof
Modern Beige with Red Roof
Included in the ex-showroom price are a 3.3kW portable charger, a 7.4kW wall box charger, and home installation. MG also provides a lifetime warranty on the high-voltage battery for the first owner and a 3-year/unlimited km vehicle warranty.
