Mercedes-Benz has launched Celebration Edition versions of its two flagship models in India — the fully electric EQS SUV and the ultra-luxury Mercedes-Maybach GLS. Featuring premium upgrades and exclusive design touches, both models aim to further strengthen the brand’s presence in the luxury car segment.
Mercedes-Benz has introduced the Celebration Edition of its two flagship vehicles in the Indian market. These include the all-electric EQS SUV and the ultra-luxury Mercedes-Maybach GLS. Both models come with special updates and enhanced premium features, reinforcing Mercedes-Benz’s strong position in the luxury segment.
The Mercedes EQS SUV Celebration Edition is available in two seating configurations.
The five-seater variant is priced at Rs 1.34 crore (ex-showroom).
The seven-seater variant carries a price tag of Rs 1.48 crore (ex-showroom).
According to the company, the EQS SUV emerged as India’s best-selling luxury electric vehicle in 2025, highlighting its strong market acceptance.
The EQS SUV Celebration Edition is offered in two variants:
Five-seater variant
Power output: 265 kW
Torque: 800 Nm
0–100 km/h: Just over 6 seconds
Certified driving range: Around 775 km
Seven-seater variant
Power output: 400 kW
Torque: 858 Nm
0–100 km/h: Under 4 seconds
Driving range: Over 800 km
Both variants are powered by a 122 kWh battery pack, supporting fast charging for added convenience.
The five-seater EQS SUV Celebration Edition is now also available with the AMG Line package, a feature previously reserved for the top variant. The exterior gets sporty design elements and larger alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, rear passengers benefit from features such as ventilated seats and an MBUX rear tablet, ensuring a highly comfortable and tech-rich travel experience.
The Mercedes-Maybach GLS Celebration Edition has been launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 4.10 crore. Notably, the SUV will now be locally assembled in India, resulting in a price reduction of over Rs 40 lakh, making it more accessible than before.
The Maybach GLS features a striking dual-tone paint finish, making it stand out on the road. Signature elements such as large forged alloy wheels and a chrome-dominated grille enhance its presence. The cabin is designed with a strong focus on rear-seat comfort, offering two individual rear seats with massage and ventilation functions. Premium leather upholstery and a high-end sound system transform the interior into a luxury lounge on wheels.
Under the hood, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine.

The SUV accelerates from 0–100 km/h in under 5 seconds, while its top speed is electronically limited for safety.
