After creating waves at its global premiere during Monterey Car Week in 2023, the Lamborghini Temerario has now officially launched in India. Priced from ₹6 crore (ex-showroom), the supercar steps in as the successor to the iconic Huracan. It retains Lamborghini’s bold design DNA while bringing fresh styling, advanced hybrid technology, and luxurious interiors to the table.
The Temerario is now the third hybrid model in Lamborghini’s growing electrified lineup and features a wide array of customisation options and forward-looking technologies.
The highlight of the Lamborghini Temerario lies under the hood. The supercar is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with three electric motors — two on the front axle and one positioned between the engine and the gearbox. This advanced plug-in hybrid system churns out a combined 907 bhp and 800 Nm of torque.
The internal combustion engine alone is responsible for 789 bhp and 729 Nm, capable of revving up to an astonishing 10,000 rpm. Power is transmitted through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, ensuring rapid and precise shifts across all four wheels.
The Temerario accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, while its top speed is rated at 343 km/h. A 3.8 kWh lithium-ion battery supports the hybrid system, offering an all-electric front-wheel drive mode ideal for city cruising. The setup also allows for advanced torque vectoring and smoother transitions during gear shifts.
The design language of the Lamborghini Temerario continues the brand’s sharp and aggressive tradition. It features clean, angular lines, short overhangs, and an overall aerodynamically focused body. A new shark-nose front end and distinctive twin-barrel headlights lend the car a dominant road presence.
The front fascia includes angular air intakes, hexagonal lighting signatures, and a large splitter, contributing to its muscular stance. Compared to the Huracan, the Temerario gets a wider track and larger aero vents near the rear wheels, improving downforce by an impressive 103% over the Huracan Evo.
The car rolls on Y-spoke alloy wheels — 20-inch at the front and 21-inch at the rear — wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza Sport or Potenza Race tyres. At the rear, you’ll find an aggressive diffuser, hexagonal LED taillights, and a central exhaust outlet.
Globally, it is offered in two standard paint options — Blu Marinus and Verde Mercurius. Through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program, customers can choose from over 400 bespoke colours and liveries.
Inside the Temerario, the design draws inspiration from aircraft cockpits. It features a driver-focused layout equipped with modern technology and tactile controls. Key highlights include a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, an 8.4-inch infotainment screen, and a 9.1-inch display for the passenger.
The interior also features a three-spoke steering wheel with physical switches, and the driver’s seat is 18-way adjustable with heating and ventilation functions. Upholstery and materials are highly customisable, with four stitching patterns, a wide palette of interior colour options, and the option for carbon-fibre trim for a sportier look.
Buyers seeking even more performance-oriented customization can opt for the Alleggerita package, which reduces weight for a sharper driving experience.
With the launch of the Temerario in India, Lamborghini has introduced a compelling mix of electric innovation, extreme performance, and head-turning design. At ₹6 crore, this plug-in hybrid supercar not only serves as a successor to the Huracan but also a bold step forward in Lamborghini’s electrification roadmap.
