Chinese smartphone brand iQOO is gearing up to expand its Z10 series with the launch of the iQOO Z10 Lite 5G in India. Following the debut of the Z10 and Z10x in April, the company will introduce this more affordable variant, boasting a massive 6,000mAh battery, Snapdragon processor, and budget-friendly pricing under ₹10,000.
The iQOO Z10 Lite 5G is officially scheduled to launch in India on June 18, 2025. The announcement came via a teaser from iQOO India on X (formerly Twitter), which also tagged Snapdragon India and Amazon India, hinting at the smartphone’s processor brand and exclusive online availability.
iQOO claims that the Z10 Lite 5G will offer the largest battery in the under-₹10,000 price segment. The 6,000mAh battery marks a significant jump from the 5,000mAh battery found in the Z9 Lite, and is expected to deliver extended performance for day-to-day users.
The teaser showcases the blue colour variant of the Z10 Lite 5G. While iQOO has not confirmed other options, it’s expected that more colours will be available at launch. The smartphone also features a dual-rear camera setup with a vertically-aligned design.
Though iQOO has not revealed the display specs, it is expected to feature a 6.5 to 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel with an HD+ resolution. Rumours also suggest that the screen may offer a 120Hz refresh rate, an upgrade over the 90Hz panel of the Z9 Lite. This would offer smoother visuals, especially during scrolling or gaming.
While the exact chipset hasn’t been confirmed, the teaser suggests the presence of a Snapdragon processor. It is highly likely to be the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, which is also found in similarly priced phones like the Redmi 14C 5G and Poco M7 5G. This chip offers decent performance and 5G connectivity for budget-conscious users.
In terms of photography, the iQOO Z10 Lite 5G is expected to carry forward the camera specs of its predecessor. That includes a 50MP dual-rear camera setup and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. These features should provide satisfactory results for users with basic photography needs.
The phone will support 15W charging, likely with a charger included in the box. While this isn’t the fastest charging available, it’s acceptable for this price bracket, especially given the larger battery.
On the software front, the Z10 Lite 5G is expected to run Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, bringing new UI improvements and Android features to budget users.
iQOO is expected to offer the Z10 Lite 5G in 4GB and 6GB RAM options, with 128GB of internal storage as standard. These configurations mirror the Z9 Lite and provide good value at this price point.
In terms of pricing, the Z10 Lite 5G is expected to start at ₹9,999, placing it firmly in the sub-₹10,000 smartphone segment, making it one of the most compelling budget 5G smartphones in India.
With a Snapdragon chipset, large battery, and 5G support, the iQOO Z10 Lite 5G appears to be a solid choice for users looking for a value-for-money smartphone in 2025. Full details will be confirmed at the official launch on June 18.
