Greaves Electric Mobility has expanded its partnership with Alt Mobility to scale India’s electric vehicle ecosystem, deploying over 700 Ampere Magnus SW S electric scooters. The collaboration aims to accelerate EV adoption in the B2B and last-mile delivery sector, offering cost-effective, zero-emission transport solutions through Alt Mobility’s innovative Drive-to-Own model.
Greaves Electric Mobility Ltd. (GEML) has announced a significant expansion of its partnership with Alt Mobility to support India’s growing electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem, particularly in the B2B and last-mile delivery sector. The collaboration focuses on supplying and leasing Ampere Magnus SW S electric scooters, aiming to make zero-emission transport more accessible and cost-effective for fleet operators and delivery partners.
Vikas Singh, Managing Director of Greaves Electric Mobility, said, “GEML is committed to strengthening India’s B2B ecosystem by delivering reliable EV solutions to fleet operators and riders. … Our partnership with Alt Mobility reflects our vision to build a future-ready B2B ecosystem where electric mobility is not just sustainable but also accessible and efficient.”
Under this collaboration, GEML will provide electric two-wheelers, while Alt Mobility will procure and lease the scooters through its platform. Currently, Alt Mobility operates over 700 Ampere Magnus SW S vehicles in Delhi and Bengaluru, and the companies plan to scale this number significantly in the coming months.
The Magnus SW S has been specifically designed for B2B operations. The deployment is supported by Indofast Energy, which provides energy infrastructure and battery-swapping solutions to enhance operational uptime for EV fleets.
The Ampere Magnus SW S scooters will be available through Alt Mobility’s Drive-to-Own model, giving gig riders, delivery partners, and fleet operators access to affordable, zero-emission mobility solutions. This model is expected to accelerate EV adoption across India’s delivery and logistics sector.
Built at Ampere’s factory in Ranipet, the Magnus SW S combines reliability with performance, supported by GEML’s 17 years of EV expertise. Key features include:
Dual-frame chassis tested for payloads up to 200 kg
165 mm ground clearance for urban and semi-urban roads
12-inch tyres for improved stability
High-performance motor for efficient energy use
IoT-enabled fleet management capabilities
The scooters come with a warranty of up to three years or 75,000 km, backed by over 500 Ampere Care touchpoints across India.
This partnership highlights the growing momentum of electric mobility in India, especially for commercial and last-mile delivery operations. By leveraging GEML’s EV manufacturing expertise and Alt Mobility’s leasing and fleet management ecosystem, the initiative aims to reduce operational costs while promoting sustainable transport solutions.
Greaves Electric Mobility (GEML) has been a pioneer in India’s electric mobility space for over 17 years, providing cutting-edge solutions for commercial and personal EVs.
Alt Mobility specializes in commercial EV leasing and fleet management, enabling businesses and gig economy workers to access modern, zero-emission vehicles without high upfront costs.
Together, these companies aim to scale India’s EV infrastructure while supporting the transition to cleaner and more sustainable urban transportation.
