Ducati has launched the new XDiavel V4 power cruiser in India with an aggressive design and a performance-focused V4 engine. Positioned at the top of Ducati’s lineup, the motorcycle blends long-distance comfort with superbike-like engineering.
The Ducati XDiavel V4, the brand’s new performance-oriented power cruiser, has officially been launched in India.
The motorcycle is priced at ₹30.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
Replacing the previous V-twin model, the XDiavel V4 introduces Ducati’s V4 Granturismo engine into its cruiser lineup. Designed for riders who want strong performance along with long-distance comfort, the motorcycle combines cruiser ergonomics with sportbike engineering.
Imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), the XDiavel V4 sits at the top end of Ducati’s product portfolio in India and is positioned as a premium, distinctive option in the luxury cruiser segment.
The Ducati XDiavel V4 is priced at ₹30.89 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Being a CBU model, on-road prices may vary significantly depending on state taxes and registration charges.
Deliveries are expected to begin soon through most major Ducati dealerships across key Indian cities.
The XDiavel V4 is powered by Ducati’s 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine, the same liquid-cooled unit used in models like the Multistrada V4.
Power: 168 hp
Torque: 126 Nm
Gearbox: 6-speed
The engine also features cylinder deactivation, which shuts off the rear cylinders at low speeds to improve fuel efficiency and reduce heat — making city riding more comfortable.
Ducati does not officially disclose the top speed figure, but the XDiavel V4 is claimed to exceed 250 km/h, placing it among the fastest power cruisers sold globally.
A lightweight aluminum monocoque frame combined with advanced traction electronics helps ensure controlled power delivery and stability.
The motorcycle features a 770 mm seat height, making it accessible to a wide range of riders.
Forward-set foot pegs, a wide handlebar, and a low stance deliver classic cruiser ergonomics, while still offering a comfortable, upright riding position during highway cruising.
Front: Fully adjustable upside-down forks
Rear: Monoshock
Brakes: Dual front discs with Brembo calipers + rear disc
Safety: Cornering ABS
This setup is tuned to balance high-speed stability with everyday usability.
The motorcycle comes loaded with advanced technology, including:
Full-color TFT display
Riding modes
Traction control
Wheelie control
Launch control
Cruise control
These systems are derived from Ducati’s sport models and optimized to suit the cruiser riding experience.
