MG Motor India commenced deliveries of the newly launched Windsor EV Pro on May 16, 2025. The company handed over 150 units in Bengaluru on the first day, marking a strong debut for the premium variant in its electric vehicle lineup. The Windsor EV Pro witnessed impressive demand at launch, securing 8,000 bookings within just 24 hours.
At launch, the MG Windsor EV Pro was introduced at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹17.49 lakh for the first 8,000 customers. MG also offers the vehicle under a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, where customers can purchase the car at a lower upfront cost of ₹12.49 lakh and pay ₹4.50 per kilometre for battery usage.
With the introductory offer now concluded, the current ex-showroom price of the Windsor Pro stands at ₹18.09 lakh, while the BaaS option is now available at ₹13.10 lakh.
The MG Windsor Pro features notable design enhancements over the standard Windsor EV. The exterior receives a premium touch with new diamond-cut alloy wheels, replacing the aero-style wheels seen in lower trims. Buyers can choose from three new color options:
Celadon Blue
Glaze Red
Aurora Silver
Inside the cabin, MG has introduced a dual-tone black and ivory interior theme, giving the Windsor Pro a sophisticated and luxurious ambiance.
The Windsor Pro offers a high-tech and comfortable cabin, led by a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster. The premium experience is further elevated with a panoramic glass roof, enhancing the cabin’s openness.
Additional features include:
Wireless phone charging
Infinity nine-speaker sound system
360-degree surround-view camera
Electronic parking brake
Six airbags
One of the Windsor Pro’s standout features is its Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). These systems improve safety and convenience with smart driving technologies such as:
Traffic Jam Assist
Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
Adaptive Cruise Control
These capabilities enhance the driving experience, particularly in urban environments.
Like its standard counterpart, the Windsor Pro supports both Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging. These features allow users to charge external devices or even power another EV, adding significant practicality and versatility to the vehicle’s use case.
The MG Windsor Pro EV is powered by a 52.9 kWh battery pack, enabling it to deliver a maximum output of 134 bhp and 200 Nm of peak torque. It offers an impressive range of 449 km on a single charge, making it a highly capable option for both city and long-distance travel.
