Citroën India has announced that its Aircross SUV has earned a 5-star safety rating for adult occupant protection from Bharat NCAP, India’s national vehicle safety assessment program. The model also secured 4 stars for child occupant protection, highlighting its commitment to safety, comfort, and performance in the Indian market.
The Aircross 5S variant was tested rigorously under Bharat NCAP protocols. The SUV scored 27.05 points out of 32 for adult occupant protection (AOP) and 40 points out of 49 for child occupant protection (COP). These results reflect a strong emphasis on both driver and passenger safety, as well as child occupant protection in crash scenarios.
