Bajaj Auto has expanded its electric scooter lineup in India with the launch of the new Bajaj Chetak C25. Priced from Rs 91,399 (ex-showroom), the scooter targets buyers looking for a trusted brand, stylish design, and a balanced real-world range for daily urban commuting.
Bajaj Auto has strengthened its electric two-wheeler portfolio in India with the launch of the Bajaj Chetak C25. With a claimed range of 113 km, the new electric scooter positions itself as a practical and well-rounded option for city use, combining premium build quality with everyday usability.
In terms of design, the Bajaj Chetak C25 retains the brand’s signature neo-retro styling. It continues to feature the iconic horseshoe-shaped LED headlamp, which has become a defining element of the Chetak range.
The front apron remains clean and minimal with gentle contours, while the side panels receive new graphics. At the rear, a revised tail-lamp design helps differentiate the C25 from earlier models.
The Bajaj Chetak C25 stands out as India’s only electric scooter with a full metal body, enhancing durability while maintaining a premium feel. It offers 25 litres of under-seat storage, sufficient for everyday essentials.
The scooter also gets a 650 mm long full-length seat, ensuring comfort for both the rider and the pillion.

The Chetak C25 is powered by a 2.5 kWh floorboard-mounted battery, paired with a 2.2 kW electric motor. According to Bajaj, the scooter delivers a claimed range of 113 km on a single charge.
Charging the battery from 0 to 80 percent takes approximately 2 hours and 25 minutes.
The scooter is supplied with a 750W off-board charger, which can charge the battery from 0 to 100 percent in under 4 hours.
