News Synopsis

There is no stopping resignations at Ola Electric, and now Yashwant Kumar, Senior Director and Business Head for Charging Networks, has decided to leave the company. Kumar, a B.Tech graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay, joined Ola Electric in March of last year.
He is one of several senior employees who have left Bhavish Aggarwal's electric two-wheeler company in recent months, according to sources, amid a global meltdown, supply chain issues, and several EV fire incidents that have shaken the trust of EV buyers in the country. ET Auto was the first to report on Kumar's resignation.

Kumar was previously the Co-Founder and CEO of the digital marketing agency GenY Medium in Hyderabad, as well as a five-year employee of Procter & Gamble. Prior to launching GenY Medium in India, he led branding initiatives for Pantene and Pringles in South East Asia.Ranjit Kondeshan, the Director of Human Resources at Ola Electric, decided to leave the company last month.

Kondeshan left the electric mobility company on July 2, 2014, only 14 months after joining. Ola Electric, which, like other EV players, is under investigation by the government for battery fires, has seen some high-profile exits in recent months.
