News Synopsis

Hindi and French are the most popular foreign languages among Japanese students at Global Indian International School in Tokyo. A prominent member of GIIS Atul Temurnikar has given this information. Temurnik, co-founder and president of the 'Global Schools Foundation' in Singapore, said that Japanese students are curious to learn about Asian and Western cultures while preserving their own culture.

During Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Japan recently, a Japanese student spoke to PM Modi in Hindi. The Prime Minister was also shocked to hear a Japanese student talking in Hindi and could not stop himself. He asked the student where he learned this language. It is no coincidence that a Japanese student was speaking in Hindi. Actually, Japan is full of Hindi and French learners. The popularity of Hindi is increasing not only in India but also abroad.

Atul Temurnik pointed out that Hindi and French are the most popular foreign languages among Japanese students on the campus of the Global Indian International School in Tokyo, and GIIS has 15,000 students learning Hindi across its 16 campuses.
