Clear, A Bengaluru Based Startup Raises $75 Million

News Synopsis

Clear a Bengaluru-based company has raised $75 million with the help of Kora capital and stripe. With this Stripe, a US-based payment major has made its first major in an Indian startup. 

Clear has refused to share its valuation after the investment but it is assumed to be around $250 million.
Archit Gupta, the CEO of the company has said that Clear is looking towards trying up with five more banks in the current financial year. 

According to him the company processes over 10% of Indian business invoices and has a Gross Merchandise Value of $400 billion.
Clear is the first set up of Indian start-ups that are founded by Y contributors.  The company was first founded in 2011, by Archit Gupta, Srivastava Chari, and Ankit Solanki.

The company offers solutions with GST, along with Business incorporation and other services. Clear has also launched a platform for tax saving and mutual funds investment.
