Strong voice singer Bhupinder Singh (6 February 1940 - 18 July 2022) is no more with us. He died of cardiac arrest on Monday evening after being admitted to the hospital 10 days ago. Best songs like 'Karoge yaad toh har baat yaad aayegi' and 'Kabhi kisi ko mukmal jahan nahi milta' got him a special place. He was 82 years old and his passing, as it were, saddened again one evening.

Bhupinder was born on 6 February 1940 in Amritsar, Punjab. His father Professor Natha Singh himself was a good musician. He got fame from 'Dil khoon tha hai phir wahi leisure ke raat din'. The song 'Hoke Majboor Mujhe, Une Bula Hoga' sung by Bhupinder Singh with Mohammad Rafi, Talat Mehmood and Manna Dey became extremely popular. His popular songs include many songs like Duniya Chote Yaar Na Choote, Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Aasman, Dil Dhoonta Hai, Naam Gum Jayega.

Let us tell you that Bhupinder Singh had joined RD Burman's orchestra and there he started playing guitar. Gradually he became a good friend of RD Burman and gave Bhupinder Singh a chance to sing in Gulzar's film Parichay, released in 1972. After that Bhupinder never looked back and started ruling the hearts of people with his voice. In the 1980s, Bhupinder Singh married Mithali, a Bangladeshi Hindu singer.
