Venture capital fund Riverwalk Holdings has launched funding of Rs 150 crore focused on early-stage financing for Indian start-ups. The fund is supported by the Singapore-based Thakral Group and is supported by major business houses in India and Singapore.

"There are ups and downs in the startup life cycle, and we promise to be supportive throughout the journey. We are grateful to have like-minded investors who share an investment philosophy," Riverwalk Holdings Founding Partner Satveer Singh Thakral said in a statement on Thursday.

Riverwalk employs a non-industrial investment approach using priority sectors, including enterprise SaaS, fintech and consumer technology, and consumer brands. The fund has invested up to Rs 10 crore per startup and has already invested four times.
