Virat Kohli’s ODI Captaincy in Danger

Virat Kohli, the captain of the Indian Cricket team has decided to leave the captaincy after the T20 world cup. The Indian cricket team has not shown very praisable performance in the world cup till now and due to this the team has lost the chase to enter the Semifinals as well. Indian Cricket Council has said that they were hoping for the better performance of the team and wanted to see the team enter the semifinals at the least. 

BCCI has also said that the captain should be the same for the one-day and T20 matches. It is believed that once Virat Kohli gives up the captaincy of T20 his captaincy in the one-day will also be at risk. The council wants to have a captain who can lead the team towards the ICC Trophy in 2022 and 2023.
